OUR FOCUS | DISCIPLESHIP

Welcome to the ‘road less traveled.’  Redeemer’s Love Houston takes seriously the mission Jesus gave His church to "make disciples (followers) of all nations." (Matthew 28:19).  Many churches give ‘lip-service’ to the importance of discipleship, but fewer follow through with an intentional path for reproducing disciples.  Our discipleship system is designed with the aim of cultivating and sustaining a vibrant disciple-multiplying culture.  We want discipleship to be the air we breathe!

CORE VALUES | SEVEN R's of REDEEMER'S LOVE

1. REDEMPTIVE MISSION | Join Jesus as He makes ALL THINGS NEW!
2. RELATIONAL DISCIPLESHIP | Learn, life on life, to live like Jesus!
3. RACIAL HARMONY | Reach & Reflect our colorful city (unity in diversity)!
4. RADICAL GENEROSITY | Give ourselves away till it hurts!
5. REGULAR REPENTANCE | Die daily to sin & self!
6. RESPONSIVE WORSHIP | See more & sing more of God's great glory!
7. RESOLUTE COMMITMENT | Follow Jesus faithfully to the end!

DIVERSE |  REACH & REFLECT OUR COLORFUL CITY

Houston is home to more than 345 unique “people groups” (with their own distinct culture) that speak 120+ different languages, from over 220 different nations!  In 2013, Forbes Magazine named Houston as “America’s Next Great Global City.”  We’re now the most ethnically diverse city in the nation!  Every week, 2000+ people, from around the world, relocate to Houston, creating an unprecedented opportunity to “make disciples of all nations,” right here in our own backyard!
